Welcome visitors, newcomers, and friends. The families and staff of St . Catherine of Siena welcome all. We have been part of the Martinez community for well over a hundred years, even since before it was incorporated as a city. St. Catherine continues to be a cornerstone of faith, service, and community leadership for Martinez.
Just like our town, we share a rich heritage and cultural diversity. Our parishioners helped establish Martinez, and continue to help it thrive by reaching out to others, providing a friendly atmosphere, offering parish-wide social activities, and supporting our outstanding parochial school in its goals and mission.
Charity, service, sports, education, fraternity, and faith unite all of us and provide opportunities for everyone to join us.

Our ministry of Catholic lay people works to serve those in need in the cities of Martinez and Pacheco. The role of the Vincentian goes beyond mere food and comfort; we provide loving and compassionate interest in individuals. More about our organization.

Building our future together
School principal Pam Seto and pastor Father Clarence Zamora, along with members of the Parish and School welcome you. Join our families and our community to discover what St. Catherine of Siena offers and to connect with the ministries and organizations.
Our school is educating the leaders of tomorrow with a foundation of positive moral values, critical thinking, and love of learning. The school opened in 1949 and thousands of Martinez residents are alumni of our halls. Small class sizes, individual attention to students, and sterling certifications and accreditation make St. Catherine of Siena School an option for families seeking more for their children's Pre-K through Eighth grade education.
The parish is tended by Father Clarence Zamora, who is leading the church and its members through these times of uncertainty and disconnectedness. Daily masses, holiday services, and celebrations of love and live bring our community together within the larger Martinez community. Join us in sharing faith and joy in a warm and welcoming setting.
